The healing phase varies depending on care, type of skin and body part. To achieve the best possible healing, please follow the below points:
- Avoid any strenuous activity after getting tattooed.
- Remove cling film after three hours with clean hands. Remove Second Skin after two to five days with clean hands. Then clean the tattoo with clear, lukewarm water and a pH-neutral, sensitive soap. Allow the wound to air dry or gently pat dry with a clean towel.
- Then apply a thin layer of coconut oil or jojoba oil.
- For the first seven days, shower quickly and not too hot. Let water, shampoo and shower gel over the tattoo. Do not wash separately and do not scrub!
- Apply a thin layer of oil to the tattoo once or twice during the first week to protect the skin from drying out. Wash your hands beforehand!
- In the second to third week, apply a thin layer of oil once a day if necessary.
